Final night the Costume Designers Awards were held in Beverley Hills and two looks in particular caught our eye, Rooney Mara and Kate Beckinsale.
Rooney, who playsLisbeth Salander in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, wore a considerably more daring dress than we are utilized to seeing her in. The purple, plunging dress was cut nearly to her belly button and Rooney added a pair of nude, ankle strap sandals to the J Mendel dress. She wore her hair scraped back with a slick of plum lipstick.
Kate Beckinsale wore a a lot much more formal number, but no less eye-catching. Kate’s silver dress perfectly flattered her dark looks. The off-the-shoulder, floor-length dress was nipped in at the waist and had a slight train.
