One more red carpet show tonight, this time The Brit Awards which are being held at the O2 Arena in London. The Awards might be allabout the musicians but our attention was on the television crowd. Most notably Holly Willoughby in this deep v-neck black dress.
Holly has earned her name of Wolloughbooby in this knee length dress which she teamed with strappy sandals. The mother of two wore her hair extended and loose and carried a little clutch bag.
Jessie J went for an equally eye-catching look in this vibrant red dress which left small to the imagination. The chiffon floor-length dress showed her granny pants and some intelligently placed embroidery covered her chest. The singer wore her hair in voluminous curls and kept jewellery to a minimal with just a pair of statement earrings.
Nicole Scherzinger may possibly not be a Brit but she undoubtedly caught our eye in this yellow strapless embellished dress. She wore her hair slicked back.
Adele was stunning in this Burberry black sweetheart dress with sheer sleeves and really, really large hair.
Florence Welch looked the worst in this beige dress which highlighted her pale skin. It was virtually ethereal but just ended up creepy. The classic Alexander McQueen dress would be striking on most folks but Florence is just also pale. She is nominated in the Best British Solo Artist and Very best British Album categories.
Florence will be singing tonight at the awards. The nude gown had a rise-and-fall skirt and couture detailing which we seem to keep in mind had been not on the original catwalk version. Florence wore the dress with McQueen wedges also.
Kylie Minogue looked great in this vivid blue sleeveless dress from Yves Saint Laurent which showed the pint sized pop star’s legs with a strategically placed slit. Kylie is a single of the presenters at tonight’s awards and we loved the jewelled accent on the empire line waist.
Pixie Lott wore a black sleeveless quantity with tassels which she teamed with a bright red clutch bag and side swept hair whilst Alexandra Burke donned this awful, gladiator style purple and yellow dress. We quite liked the purple bottom but the yellow bodice was just strange.
Lana Del Rey was stunning in this scarlet off-the-shoulder gown from Vivienne Westwood. The outfit was completed with her trademark Hollywood locks and a touch of nude gloss on her lips.
I do wish she had added some accessories to the look to brighten it a little and add some interest. The red nail polish was not adequate to keep us interested in her appear. It was genuinely fairly but there was just some thing missing.
Fearne Cotton appeared in a cute, sheer blouse with Peter Pan collar and brief black skirt.
Radio 1 DJ Fearne Cotton looked gorgeous in a sheer Peter Pan collared blouse and a black skater skirt whilst her colleague, Sarah Cox, wore this unstructured and unflattering asummetric dress with nude shoes and bag.
