It was the Elle Style Awards in London last night and as always, the red carpet was remarkable. There were so numerous celebrities and looks thatcaught our eye but we will try to give you a summary!
Tolula Adeymi, the British model and actress, flew straight from New York Fashion Week for the awards and wore a hot designer to boot. Adeyemi wore a Michael van der Ham spring 2012 dress. The silky dress perfectly encapsulated van der Ham’s signature clashing prints, a lot greater than Diane Kruger’s try at the appear last week.
The dress was halter-neck and asymmetric. We were not sure about the hair even though…
Tolula wore the dress with a clutch from Milli Millu, a Mawi cuff and ring and a Rachel Galley bracelet.
Christina Ricci was 1 star who hopped straight from the Baftas to the awards in the Savoy Hotel. She wore a black Jonathan Saunders Resort gown which was perfect with the actress’s dark looks.
The dress was figure hugging with a sheer pleated overlay and sleeves. She carried a black clutch bag and added some drop earrings and a slick of lipstick.

One more celebrity who had two consecutive award nights was Jessica Chastain (see her BAFTA look). Jessica wore an Alexander McQueen dress with a feminine, voluminous skirt and belted lace bodice. The leather belt added a bit of edge to the red haired actress’s appear. She teamed the dress with straightforward strap, peep-toe sandals.
It may possibly have been a secure choice but we loved the appear, especially the rough bun.
A single of the brightest looks of the night was Naomie Harris who wore an eye catching blue Victor & Rolf dress from the Spring 2012 collection. It was best with Naomie’s toned legs and amazing body.
The metallic blue dress had lace stitching on the neckline. She carried a blue Sergio Rossi butterfly clutch and a small necklace. She finished the look with metallic pumps, once again by Rossi.
Alexa Chung presented the Awards in this Stella McCartney pre-Fall 2012 masculine suit. We did not like this. The grey check suit with white shirt was just a bit boring.
Poppy Delevingne’s look was something but boring. She wore a really summery and feminine dress by Mary Katratzou for Topshop. We are sure she was freezing!
The ‘Pheasant’ dress had a nipped in waist and a structured skirt with vibrant floral print. She wore her hair in a slicked back ponytail, which was best to enable the eye to be drawn to the dress. The dress will price
