6 many years ago we lost one particular of the best producers in the Hip-Hop local community, James Yancey alsorecognized as J Dilla. Jay Dee was recognized for operating with Hip-Hop greats The Pharcyde, Widespread, A Tribe Known as Quest, Busta Rhymes, &amp The Roots to name a few. He was also part of the team Slum Village, and shaped Jaylib with Madlib. In my opinion, J Dilla is one of the top five producers of all time. I constantly admired his ability to chop samples so cleanly, and how his drums were continually on point. One more factor I should mention about Dilla was how he was nonetheless making some of his best beats just months prior to he handed absent.
