mr. porter these days released their spring summertime 2012 marketing campaign. in line with the previousseries, the marketing campaign features several men who have inherited the sartorial style of their forefathers, and who aptly represent the campaign’s slogan: “you can inherit fashion. or obtain it on MRPORTER.COM”. the marketing campaign stars a few sons and grandsons of design icons: ethan peck, actor grandson of gregory peck tuki brando, medical college student and grandson of marlon brando and unsurprisingly my favourite, logan plant, brewer and son of led zeppelin’s robert plant (over).

i love it that they used genuine men and women in their campaign, alfred dunhill’s “voice” marketing campaign happens to head. it tends to make it a lot more believable, and adds a layer of intrigue. looking fashionably broody by the seaside, mr. logan plant wore a pair of burberry prorsum ikat print trousers, genuinely one of my favourites from the latter’s spring summer time 2012 assortment.
