i was in paris final saturday, not specifically there for paris menswear trend week but i imagined because i’m there may well as well catch ademonstrate.the only present i was keen on seeing that day, was dior homme’s. in no way mind it was a tiny out of town, as monsieur neuville pointed out on twitter, “you arrive to dior, dior doesn’t come to you”. titled “a soldier on my very own”, kris van assche sent out an army of lonesome warriors. lots of army green, oversized cloakes and coats, paired with baseball caps and completed with contrasting soled boots.

the demonstrate venue was at the tennis club de paris, a huge show room but nevertheless overcrowded and exploding at it’s seams. that was the moment when karl lagerfeld arrived.

entrance row was complete of hefty bodyweight figures. from whom i recognised: LVMH’s bernard, delphine and antoine arnault, karl lagerfeld, berluti’s inventive director alessandro sartori and product anja rubik. also noticed designers haider ackermann, milan vukmirovic, US actor/musician jared leto and taiwanese artiste nicky wu (吴奇隆).

one of my favourite seems to be, is this hooded physique hotter layered beneath a fit jacket.

there weren’t numerous bags showcased in the present, but when they do it’s display stopping. the crocodile leather tote in the most excellent shade of shiny green, severely loving.

favourites were the voluminous coats, enjoy the whole styling and form.

most of the coats had been break up at the back, all the way up to the collars, fairly exciting.

a small safe, but nevertheless wonderful collection. really like the finale where all of dior’s troopers marched out in unison. do you like this assortment?
